WELCOME LETTER
Dear colleagues and friends,
As organisers of the 55th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Nephrology it is our pleasure and privilege to present this congress to our colleagues in Paediatric Nephrology, junior fellows, allied health professionals and industry partners. The congress will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania from 28 September to 1 October 2023.
The scientific committee for ESPN 2023 is proud to prepare a program of outstanding scientific quality to stimulate cross-talk between different specialties involved in the treatment of children with kidney disorders. The program will include a full spectrum of presentations from keynote speakers, masterclasses, basic research and tertiary care nephrology. The IPNA-ESPN Junior Class and three hands-on pre-congress CME events will be held just before the main congress. Several novel symposiums will be introduced at this meeting including Grand Rounds in paediatric nephrology, dedicated clinical guideline sessions, a moderated industry session on novel drugs and devices, the 3-minute thesis and a green nephrology taskforce. Our program is designed with young nephrology fellows, the future of our society, in mind.
As with all modern congresses in the post-COVID era this will be a hybrid meeting, opening up new opportunities for collaborations with international societies, networking with leaders in the field, and promoting education and research in paediatric nephrology around the world. We have mandated that all speakers attend the congress in-person so that meaningful discussions are possible.
We hope that you will take this opportunity to be part of an exceptional event and join us in Vilnius from September 28 – October 1, 2023. We look forward to welcoming you in Vilnius!
Kind regards,
COMMITTEES
